I have always had a love and passion for tabletop and entertaining - after 19 years in the corporate world or merchandising and product design, I felt it was the right time to convince my dear friend and business partner Gary McNatton that it was time to build a brand. What is the best part of owning your own business?
The customers, it has been so great being a part of these communities and making new friends - the creativity of finding, designing and sourcing wonderful product - that we both literally use everyday! What is the most memorable moment that has happened in your store?
When Nancy Meyers (director of my favorite movies - Something's Got to Give, It's Complicated, The Intern etc.) flew in to see the store and shop. Her sense of interiors and style is great! What is one piece of advice you have for a budding shop owner?
