Before & After: Chestnut Street

Our Chestnut Street store is open! This shop has been in the works since late 2015, and after months of lease tweaks and negotiations, it feels SO good to be able to open our doors! As you can see from the photos below, we had our work cut out for us! The store has a lot of the same design elements as our Sacramento Street shop. However, unlike our shop on up the hill, we had a bit more work to do down here on Chestnut! We decided to rip out the tile that you see in the photos and we replaced it with matte black hexagon tiles. We also felt the gaping holes in the wall weren't our best look, so we sheet rocked the walls and repaired the holes.

Once the structural work was complete, we white washed the walls (Benjamin Moore white dove), installed the same brass tube shelving & marble cash wrap that we have in our other shop. The insanely talented Liven Up Design created grasscloth tables for us and I couldn't love them more if I tried! A big thank you also goes out to the team at Tracy Anthony for all their hard work.

We have a bit more space on Chestnut Street, so we've been able to bring in some really fun complimentary brands. One of my favorites is the scarf line by Matta- all handmade in Nepal and super light weight and lovely. We also have some beautiful ceramics from Up In The Air Somewhere- a line out of brooklyn. All of their pieces are hand cast and finished with a beautiful gold rim detailing. I love using them for rings dishes or to organize my jewelry at home.

The store is located at 2230 Chestnut Street, in the marina neighborhood of SF! Pop by and say hello next time you're in the hood!
We hope to see you on Chestnut Street!
