I am SO excited to share our Spring 2016 collection launch with you all! This collection has been in the works for months, ever since I met artist Sally King Benedict last summer in Atlanta. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Benedict, she is an amazingly talented abstract artist known for her 'rich, adventurous color palette' - a girl after my own heart! Her work has been featured in the likes of Garden & Gun, House Beautiful, and Domino Magazine (to name a few). After admiring Sally's work and catching up with her in Atlanta, we hatched the idea for a fun collaboration.
As we began thinking about the Spring '16 collection, we started with a color palette of blues, greens and pops of neon and took inspiration in tropical coastlines. We both worked on our pieces on our own and then came together to bounce ideas, colors, etc off one another. In the end, Sally created 4 gorgeous murals that I think beautifully reflect the vibe of our Spring Collection!

One thing you'll notice is that this is the first time that we've introduced coral into the mix.
The coral we are using is a manmade stone, which is a departure from our typical use of semi-precious stones, but we thought that the richness of the color combined with the tropical vibe of the collection made sense.
It was so much fun getting to work with Sally on this project & I love that the collection has a small part of her creative energy and contagious enthusiasm infused throughout. I hope you enjoy the pieces as much as we enjoyed creating them!
Sally will be at our shop on Thursday, March 3rd for a fun fête celebrating the launch of the collaboration! Swing by to meet Sally, sip champagne, and shop our latest collection!
